Tenant Inspection - 1 Day Information Exchange Event

Places are still available at the Tenant Inspectors Network on the 26th May 2010, Media Resource Centre in Llandrindod Wells.

What?This interactive & participative event aims to gather tenant inspectors together from throughout Wales for a day of information exchange.

Why?Tenant inspection has grown within housing in Wales over recent years, with numerous projects now set up and running. Tenants of local authorities and housing associations have been trained to evaluate their landlord’s services and make recommendations for improvements. Tenant inspection accords with the National Tenant Participation Strategy (NTPS) and the imminent changes in regulation for Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). This 1 day event will allow tenant inspectors to share information, experiences, approaches, successes and lessons learned from their tenant inspection projects.

Who?This event is primarily for existing trained tenant inspectors in Wales, as well as their support staff/ mentors. Potential tenant inspectors are also welcome to attend, to observe and learn from others.
