Welsh Housing Quality Standard  - June 2007
This seminar was an opportunity to learn about a range of approaches for improving tenant participation and empowerment which have resulted from the need to achieve the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS). The seminar also covered the “big picture”; how the impact of achieving the standard will affect the whole of Wales.

There was also an opportunity to attend a range of workshops which aimed to highlight the innovative tenant participation and empowerment initiatives resulting from the need to achieve the WHQS as well as the impact to tenants and landlords across Wales.

Environmental Standard for the WHQS - June 2008
The seminar gave delegates an opportunity to look at what should be included within the enviornmental standard element of the WHQS and the possiblity for increased tenant involvment in the planning, budget setting and implementation of environmental standard work.
